Where i belong

This is a strange topic for me. Yes i have grown up in America, and yes i call it home, but for some reason i am very interested in the country of Germany. All of my dads side of my family dates there ancestors back to Germany, and i have always wanted to go there. I don't know if i could call it a place where i belong, however. Germany has always been a place of mystery for me, because the only chance i had to go my parents left me because "i wouldn't appreciate Europe". I feel like i belong in America, but at the same time, i feel as though i could belong in Germany.
